My neighbor's Bernese Mountain Dog had one hip done in June.
He is still on restrictions......12 weeks to be exact.

I think they stay our "babies" forever......doesn't matter how old they get.
I'm sure with an antiobiotic "switch" he'll be back on the road to recovery.

Whatever you do....don't lie!
God forbid one of them does bite and a claim is put against your homeowner's policy.....you now being 100% liable.

I have a yorkie and a maltese. Neither one would I recommend for a child under 12.
Both are always underfoot and even if your daughter was taught the prope...
