I have yorkies, sometimes they don't go into their first heat until they are two years old, most of the time it's around 8-12 months old.

I had the same problem with my yorkie pups, the vet. said to put a few drops of olive oil under their tounges, and this seemed to work.

I don't think that dogs can catch things from people, unless you all ate some bad food or something.

I have a yorkie that had very similiar symptoms, vomiting bloody diarrhea, refused food. It turned out that he had Irritable Bowel Disease.
