is your dog in a crate overnight and when your not home? what i did w/ my puppy when i was potty training her is i kept her in a crate overnight and when i wasn't home and then when i got home/woke up the first thing i would do is take her outside to...

I agree with what everyone else said - i have never heard a vet say NOT to take a puppy outside. It is a good idea not to let your dog come in contact with other dogs till about 4 montgs of age or untill the puppy is fully vaccinated. :)

I am going through the same thing with a thoroughbred mare. She is 7 or 8 years old and is a very sweet horse but her groumd manners are horrible! She lets me put the saddle on but starts swinging back and forth and rearing if you try to tighten the ...

what i did for my puppy was (and it was easier if she was in the "down" command) say "stay" and then wait for a sec and then praise. then do it again but have her stay for longer and then praise. after you feel shes doing really well try walking arou...

for my puppy we confined her to the kitchen cause it has hard wood floor so if she goes we can clean it up easier. i would suggest that and taking her out ALOT, like every hour if possible.

Ok, so my Eskie barks at ppl that come into the house or if they walk by. I know thats pretty common, but I've read that they should at least stop barking if their owner says its ok and calm down. But I don't really know how to "train" her to do that...
