Some called you cat, some called you pet,
But sister, I called you ever since we met.
You made me laugh; you made me sigh,
You even sometimes made me cry.
Your life on earth has come to an end,
But clearly God sent you, as an angel to lend.
Remembered in my heart, you will stay fair and true,
For a friend, sister, and companion is what you would do.
Now your small, fragile body lays at rest,
While you are remembered as being the best.
The love for you by your family will never cease,
Our precious Siamese cat “Sheba”, May you Rest In Peace!

Sheba, thank you for giving us 18 years of unconditional love. The house seems so empty without you and you were the best cat any girl could ask for. I laid in bed for many nights, crying and thinking about what would happen when you would be gone and now you really have left us to go to a better place. I felt so helpless watching you grow weaker and weaker, each and every day. Knowing that there was nothing that you or I could do to make you feel better. It always felt good to just lay beside you and cry when it felt like everything in life was just going wrong. You always seemed to have a way to cheer me up, without saying anything. But, having you just listen to me, gave me comfort. Losing you, is just like losing a sister. We’ve had 15 great years together and many memories cherished. I feel so selfish thinking that it’s not fair that you had to leave us and that you had no choice in the matter. But when I get to thinking about it, your 18 years on earth were fulfilling and you’ve gone to a better place. I just want you to know that you are loved by all who know you and that I love you very much! No one will ever replace you and you’ll always be in my heart. I love you Sheba, Rest In Peace!
