my sweet Yorkie Lacey
Lacey, I miss you so much. The happiest day of my life is when mom and dad surprized me with you as a 6-week old pup. I held you in my arms and instantly fell in love. No matter how bad I was feeling, you always made me feel better. You were a dog so full of personality. I loved the way you would flip your bone in the air. And when you pull that little blanket over your head and pretend you were a ghost. Barking like crazy because you could not get it off your head. I miss riding in the car with you. Car rides will never be the same. I cried so much, Lacey, when I found out you were sick. You were 13 years old and your kidneys were failing. On June 30, 2005, we knew you were too weak to fight any longer. So, we brought you to the vet and brought you out of your pain. I hope you can forgive us, Lacey. We did not want you to suffer any more. No dog will ever replace you and I hope you know that. You were one of a kind. I love you so much, Lacey, and I hope to one day see you again.
