I love you Jasmine
six days ago I bought a little German shered mix from the pound. She was so cute and little. she actually picked me, walking right over to me from all the other dogs. I instantly fell in love. I bought her, took her home, and bathed her and introduced her to my other pup, Sasha. they hit it off real well. Sasha likes everyone. A few days after i got her, i scheduled a vet appointment. she appered to be getting sick. not eating, not playing. when I finally got seen, I was told tha she had a real bad infestation of worms and intestine parasites. She was literaly being eatne from the inside out and the cost of treatment would be over 600 dollars. Being a Marine right out of the service, I was low on money, having sent most of it home. I opted to put her to sleep b/c the damage was probably be irrersable. I held her, told her i Loved her and then said goodbye as they euthinzed her. I have never cried that much in my life. Later I was told that a friend of mine who had adopted a pup from that same pound on that same day, returned hers b/c it was so sick too. all the dogs in this pound are not treated right and they all either have Parvo, worms or combination of the two. Something must be done, this is not the first time I have lost a pup, or dog from this pound. She was so young and will be forever missed. Sasha misses her too.
