T.C. (DADDY'S GIRL)

T.C. was a one-of-a-kind imp! Her name stood for "Tracy Clair" when she was sleeping, "Too Cute" when she was showing off and "Trouble's Coming" when she was in one of her moods. She was an Apricot Cock-a-poo mix who never grew up, ever playful and mischiveous. We acquired her as a young stray and she was a handful. Based on her actions and reactions, we are fairly certain she was abused as a baby. This made for some interesting adjustments for all involved. All she ever wanted was love and someone to play with her 24/7! She had her very own swimming pool for hot summer months and laid claim to the space behind my husbands' rocking chair during the winter. In her younger years she was an enthusiastic traveler and loved to argue with the seals on the California coast. As she got older she developed Canine Panic Disorder and was best in familiar surroundings. Although she made life rough for our male Cock-a-poo, he misses her, as we do. Typically for her, she was in trouble for harrasing our male dog just hours before we had to euthanize her at the age of 11-1/2, a very, very hard thing to do. She had tracheal prolapse and we were unaware of fluid build-up in her lungs due to inhalation of her own saliva until it was to late to save her. She was our T.C. right to the end. We still miss her antics and share laughter & tears, remembering her and her special ways. We had her cremated and she will always have a special place in our hearts and home.
