i miss you alot ernie
my name is jenni and im 16 years old.i love animals and love taking care of them. well when one of my cats named BB went missing at the end of feburary of this year, i went looking for him. he is gray and he only has 1 eye, and he is the best kitty cat ever.well im still searching and hoping that my baby will come back to me someday, but time can only tell. well i went looking in the back of my property behind my house, just to see if maybe he might be back there, i found 2 beautiful black labs male puppies. they seemed they were only 2 or 3 weeks old. well i took them into my care and called them Beau and Ernie. well after a week of having them Ernie started acted depressed and i didnt know what was wrong with him. hewoouldnt eat and he wasnt playing with Beau and my german shepard,Max, like he usually would. well the next day when i got home from school i noticed that Ernie couldnt even stand up to come give me "Ernie Kisses", right then i knew something was wrong..i begged my parents and grandparents, telling them something was wrong that i could feel it. so my grandfather and i brought Ernie to the vet that night and when we got to the vets office, half way across town, ernie threw up on me. well i thought maybe he just had car sickness like humans can get. but then we signed him into the vet's and he threw up again, so i went into the bathroom and cleaned Ernie and myself up and then he used the restroom on the floor and it was nothing but blood. come to find out Ernie had parvo disease and he didnt have much longer. i had 2 options, i could leave him there and they would try and cure him, or i could do a home treatment and take care of him myself. i chose the home treatment because it wouldnt cost me that much money and my mom told me that it was going to be easy to cure.well we were all wrong. that night when i finally got home from the vet, i took care of Ernie wrapped him up and gave him his medicine and water, just like the vet told me to do.i would check on him every hour that night just to make sure he was ok. well i woke up at 12am and my mom had already went and checked on him and said that he was gone.i went back to my room and cried myself to sleep.the next day momma brought Beau and got him vaccinated and he checked out fine..Beau is as playful as ever, but i wish Ernie were still here, because they were my 2 babies and they were the perfect pair.Ernie i want you to know that me, Beau and Max miss you alot and we love you.
