Goldie
Our beloved Goldie. She would hate to get bathed.. afterwards, she would roll in poop =P. She was always happy. Love to bring home other people's shoes and toys. She would run in the backyard chasing a deer and we would lose sight of her as she chased it into the brush. The next thing we knew, she was the one being chased... man, did she love it! She was running away with the biggest grin on her face. Even though she hated hair cuts, she let me cut the burrs out of her fur. I think she knew she looked silly with her fur all jagged, but she tolerated it anyways. We would go on vacation and she would refuse to eat. She loved us so much. She always wanted to be with us, bringing rocks over to us to play fetch with. Before you could get them from her, she made sure to drool all over you. When we took her for walks, she would bring a tennis ball and replace it with a tennis ball she had left along the way in previous walks. Strategically rotating them. She always was there for us, wanting to give us love. I wish I would have spent more time with her than I did. I loved her and will continue to love her for her genuine and unconditional love and faithfulness. She will be missed greatly. We will see you again someday buddy.
