To my three-legged baby brother
Dear Jasper,
You where always there for me. Even if you did only have three legs I loved you since mom brought you home that night from work. I will never forget when mom called me at grandma's next store and said there was an emergency and we needed to come home at that very moment. So we did I of course being a snoop was there first and heard a puppy bark. I cryed that night and it was never forgotten.
I may have only had you for three years but you dug a hole in my heart so deep it took me a long time to get used to the new puppy Shelby we got after you.
Mom didn't tell me but she knew somthing else wasn't quite right with you besides your defected leg. I figured it out after a while though when you started to try and bit at somthing in the air when there was nothing there.
The day we put you down I was heart broken and would NOT leave my room. I must have looked at your pictures for 8 hours straight.
Every time I was sick you would come and lay your head on my lap and lick my face until I would reasher you I would be alright.
You where my angel from above and I know you aren't gone just living somwhere else. I also know I will see you somday again, so wait for me Jasper and remember you will always have a place in my heart.
