In loving memory of Vespa... my heart still aches
This is in loving memory of Vespa. Vespa was my beloved Italian Greyhound of five years. On September 10, 2006 she was killed by my boyfirends two year old boxer. They have lived together for the past year and I will never know or understand why out of no where she befriended my baby. I take responsibility and live with the daily heartache that somehow I was unable to fully protect you. I meant what I said as I lied there next to you, " I am so sorry and you never deserved any of this." My eyes fill with tears everytime I think of your smiling face and unconditional love. I hope that I was able to bring just as much joy and happiness to your life as you did to mine. You will always be in my heart and I will never forget you.
