Joseph (Joeie) Littlefeet

Our Joeie was in three homes before we rescued him. He was found roaming at a door to the Blind Association building where our neighbor works. We found out he was trying to be adopted out by the third owner for three months before he was rescued off the street. He took seizures and had to be on phenabarbitol daily and had bad teeth and was not neutered. As soon as we could we took care of all three and had a loving obedient little companion. It was our second love of a little dog. We had a Maltese mix, white, male named Romeo who also was found roaming the streets and could not find his owners after police, vets, groomers and newspaper searches first. When Joeie became part of our family he started to challenge Romeo constantly once he settled in our home and became very protective of his new Mom, Me. So after we saw there was not going to be civility between the two after almost a year trying, we gave Romeo to a neighbor who had a male, white, Multipoo, Ben. Ben and Romo are best of buds now and Joeie became the king of our house until he passed away this September. He was only 7 years old but with his grade 4 heart murmur and seizures his little heart gave out. But he so-o-endeared us to him. We missed him too much and decided to look for another Pom. Joeie was watching out for us cause he sent us 3 little Poms this past week. They were puppy mill dogs that were rescued. Tinkerbelle, Little Joe, and Randolph thank Joeie for leading them to such a nice and loving home and companions. And thank Joeie's people for keeping all three together.
