Our beloved Newton, our little sweetheart
Newton, our love. We spent the last 16 years watching you grow from a puppy to a fun and happy dog. We watched you play, leap, wag your tail a mile a minute and enjoy the land that you loved so much. We were blessed to have you part of our lives. Your death reminds us of Grumpier Old Men. When Grandpa dies when GOD thought he forgot about him. I worry that it was too soon since you did not have a terminal illness. However, I did not like the past six months of hip dysplasia and such a hard time getting up, getting around and that created a very boring and, at times, sad environment for you. Sure you were mostly blind...and deaf....and had skin issues...and your teeth hurt. It was that the tail stopped wagging as much and you just looked tired. We swore you would never feel pain and you did feel some. We love you and feel blessed to have had you in our life for so long. I love you and miss you. I will never forget you. Your mommy and daddy miss you. Thank you for last night, Newton. I love you!
