Bandit
We lost our Dog Bandit today. My dad just called me a short while ago and gave me the bad news. He had called me earlier today and told me to call him when I got home. I just knew he was going to tell me then. But no he said Bandit was fine. Then a few hours later I got THE call. I seem to know today was the day but that doesnt make this any easier. He was my baby. He was a special dog. Huge, fluffy lap dog. He was the biggest Alaskan Malamute I have personally ever seen. Everyone who ever saw him feel in love with him. People used to take pictures of him when ever we were out anywhere. They always asked was he part lion, because of all his fur. It looked like a mane around his head. He was the family pet for almost 10 yrs. Yeah we have had others as well but he was the special one, he stole the lime light. Nothing could ever compare to him. He liked riding with my dad to take off the trash just so they could go for ice cream. After my dad got to the point he couldnt take him any more me and my son-n-law would take him some times just out to ride and get an ice cream or milk shake. He was such a loving boy, and both the "girls" in the yard loved him just as much as we did. But to him Nikki was THE ONE! those to had a special kind of relationship, rare in dogs from what Ive seen.
All I know is that there will never be another Bandit. I thought when I lost Kodi, Bandits son, that my heart could never hurt more, i was really mistaken. Bandit has left a huge unrepairable whole in my heart. Losing him and his son in the same year is just unbearable. I lost Kodi the day after christmas. This just isnt fair.
I love you Bandit and Kodi. Now you two can run and play together again. You both were just the best friends I could have had.
