In Memory of Sheng-Li Mason 12/15/96 to 10/17/03
Mason came along when we needed him most, we had just lost our first Shar-Pei a wonderful girl named Macy. A very helpful local breeder told us about, as she put it, "The perfect dog for you". He was back in Canada, where he was born, after having been down to Texas with his brother for a visit to her kennel. Pat decided to keep his brother for her show dog as his bite was a little off. We couldn't care less if his teeth didn't line up perfectly and we asked her to send for him. He was a little slow to trust, having been across the country twice in his short life. We soon got him a girlfriend, PEPA Dixon. When Mason and Dixon were together you could instantly see the love they had for each other. For six years Mason has been the best friend and protector anyone could have, and I hope and pray to see him and his namesake Macy again someday.
