Yeller 4-14-98 - 12-29-07
On Apirl 14, 1998 an Angle was born a Mastiff, Labrador mix we named him Yeller cause he looked alot like Old Yeller I was 6 years old at the time my brother was 3 and my sister was 1 after 8 weekes we took him home we lived in Santa Monica California at the time he was our dog but mostly He Was "My Dog". We would love going to the pier share my food with him and play in the water with him. Anytime when I would come home from school he would say "JESSE!!!!!" I would finish my home work first then I would play with him.In 2002 My dad got a new job at Jamestown North Dakota so we packed all our things and drove all the way day and night with Yekker by my side. Yeller, Brandon, Alyssa, & I would make a pile of leaves and jump into them. We would wait for the snow and play in it. Yeller would also wait outside the school buildings to wait for us to get out and walk us home. By the time I was 15 Brandon was 12 and Alyssa was 9 Yeller was 8 and was starting to slow down he had hearing loss, He couldn't walk up the stairs some times so my siblings and I would stay with him. On 12-25-07 This was Yeller's final Christmas with us 4 days later Yeller died. I cried all day long I didn't eat, I didn't drink, I didn't do any thing along with Brandon and Alyssa. The next day My Dad and I got up around 5 a.m. and start to make a grave for Yeller along with his 1 year old son Rontu by the time the grave was finished My dad got the coffin he bought the other day and I wrapped Yeller in his Favorite Quilt he had since he was a puppy and put him in his coffin Brandon and Alyssa wrote letters to him placed them in a ziplog bag I put a red rose on his quilt and we all said our final words "We Love You". My Dad got a Memorial Stone with Yeller's picture on it it said
"Yeller Jesses Dog Gone But Not Forgotten". we place rockson his grave and made it into a circle Brandon, Alyssa, and I made the roses into a circle. We also plant a tree with a plaque that says "In Loving Memory of Yeller".
It has been 4 years after Yeller died but we still have his son Rontu. We made a Memorial box with his old collar, leash, tennis ball, Dog Bowls, a bag of iams, a milkbone treat, a lock of his hair, and a photo of him. We mad a photo album os him which says In Loving Memory of
