The wild love that showed me true animal love
I found you on the country road, lying on the side quietly waiting for someone to pick you up and love you forever. My vet said, "no way. This is a full blooded female wolf pup, we will have to put her down. Now the decision to be made, she is only appoximately three weeks old, very limp and quiet. God stepped in and said NO WAY! So off WE went with words of the Vet, if you have any problems, we can still put her down.
I kept you and raised you, along with my cats and dogs. They all accepted you and loved you. My old mother cat, took you over, washed you and played with you. I think that is where you found your gentleness. All of my four legged family loved you and showed you love. My new vet cared for you and took care of you the 9 WONDERFUL YEARS I had you. You slept in my bed with me, went out with the real dogs to do your business in the yard. But, when the time came for you to join your ancestors in heaven I cried my eyes out with a broken heart and I held you after 9 years as the love of my life received her shot of peace. You closed your eyes and my heart broke and I still miss you more than anyone can ever know.
I don't condone keeping wolves as pets. I just found one that was content to love me and I was able to communicate with her and taught her to trust me.
Love you Loba your two legged loving mother.
