Sam you were my best friend, so kind and loving.always there protecting me and making me happy when i was sad.you were with us for 8 yrs.you traveled with us,played with us and never let us down.the day we had to say goodbye was the hardest thing i have ever had to do,but you knew it was time i could see it in your eyes and though i had to make the decision and i held you until you went to sleep you seemed to be so at peace.i will never forget my friend.you were such a joy and i did't want to let you go but i couldn't be selfish you were in so much pain and i loved you to much to see you that way.i knew when you put your tennis ball down and wouldn't play that the time was near.i miss you so much sam, we had so many good times,good memories but it's not the same with you gone.you were such a big beautiful boy and i know there will never be another one like you.i am thankful that i was blessed enough to have had you for those years.i will always love my big boy.thank you for being my best friend,thanks for all the love,kisses,happy times and loyalty and companionship. i love you sam!
