Supplementation of ZuPreem AvianMaintenance with vitamin or mineral supplements is not recommended and may be harmful to your bird's health. ZuPreem AvianMaintenance is designed to be fed free choice. Ensure that your bird always has food in its cup, and that it always has a source of fresh clean water. A typical bird's food consumption will be approximately 20% of its body weight per day, but feed the diet to maintain good body mass avoiding thinness or obesity. If the diet is moistened or becomes wet, make sure that the moist diet remains in the cage no longer than four hours.If your bird normally eats an extruded or pelleted diet or has not established fixed eating habits, you can convert your bird to ZuPreem AvianMaintenance by simply substituting ZuPreem AvianMaintenance for the previous diet. If your bird refuses to changes diets or begins to lose weight, return to the bird's previous diet and convert the bird in the following method. Mix ZuPreem AvianMaintenance with its present diet, slowly increasing the proportion of ZuPreem AvianMaintenance and decreasing the proportion of its present diet over the course of four weeks. You can improve your bird's acceptance of ZuPreem AvianMaintenance by adding diluted fruit juice to the diet. You should monitor the condition of your bird's droppings to ensure that they are well formed. The color of the droppings may change as a result of the dietary change.Storage Instructions: Store ZuPreem AvianMaintenance in a cool, dry place. Reseal the package between feedings.
