Feeding InstructionsAn average bird will consume the following amount in one day (using scoop provided):Conure: three scoopsAmazon: five scoopsAfrican Grey: five scoopsCockatoo: six to eight scoopsMacaw: eight to 10 scoops.Feed Exact Rainbow every day in a clean food cup. Adjust to the bird's actual needs and spillage. Exact Rainbow is designed to be the bird's sole diet. If you are providing additional foods, limit to 20% of the bird's total diet. No additional vitamin or mineral supplements should be added to the diet when used as directed.Exact Original is an acceptable substitute for Exact Rainbow for additional variety of color and shape. Offer Kaytee sticks or canister treats, Kaytee Spray Millet, Kaytee Fiesta, or fresh fruits and vegetables to complement your pet's diet. Provide a clean, fresh supply of water daily.Converting to Exact Rainbow When changing to a new food or diet, some coaxing and a little time is required for the bird to adjust. For best results, limit the quantity of food available to the suggested daily feeding amount. Phase Exact Rainbow into the bird's diet by mixing it with the old diet. Use the enclosed scoop to mix food as follows. Feed the proper daily amount.Day One to three: one part Exact to three parts current foodDay four to eight: two parts Exact to two parts current foodDay nine to fourteen: three parts Exact to one part current foodAfter 14 Days: feed Exact only - your bird should be completely converted.Observe your bird closely to insure it is eating Exact and not searching for its old food.
