Provide fresh water for your pet at all times.Directions: Remove one filter from package. Rinse the filter thoroughly under cool water before placing into the motor and housing area. Rinsing will remove a majority of the loose charcoal dust, which is harmless to pets. Insert the filter. The filter will fit into the slots on each side of the motor housing area. The white side of the filter should be facing out toward the front of the lower fountain bowl.Filter should be changed every 2-4 weeks depending on the size and number of pets using the fountain.
