For best results, the product should be mixed with ready to feed liquid or reconstituted powder KMR to give the consistency necessary to get good food consumption. If KMR is not available, water may be used. Fresh, clean water should always be available for drinking. It is recommended that KMR 2nd Step be used until kittens are seven or eight weeks old when they can be fed commercial kitten or cat food as desired. All changes in diet should be made gradually over a period of one week.WeaningKittens that are up on their feet and lapping from a bowl may be introduced to KMR 2nd Step. Begin by offering it as a thin gruel. As the kittens begin to eat more, add more KMR 2nd Step to thicken the mixture. Offer only small amounts and remove the uneaten portion after no more than two hours.Your veterinarian should be consulted for advice about the care and feeding of kittens. More or less food may be needed by individual kittens to satisfy their food requirements for optimum performance. Weigh the kittens at least once a week to monitor weight gain and adequacy of feeding.KMR 2nd Step is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for growth.Store in a cool, dry place.Made and printed in USA.
