The dog will enjoy maximum freedom of movement. By pressing the brake button slightly downward with your thumb you curtail your dog's freedom of movement. You now have it under control. The brake button releases automatically when you lift your thumb, and the cord or tape leash will again run in and out freely.Recalling your dog: Keep the brake button pressed with your thumb. Swing your arm backwards, pulling the dog towards you. Let go of the brake button again, and swing your arm forwards.
