Small children should therefore not use or play with this product. Use the leash only with pets that are within the weight restrictions of this leash. Do not use with uncontrollable pets as they may run off and wrap the cords around someone.Usage: Before using this leash, make sure your pets do not exceed the weight limitAttaching the leash: Always use the enclosed security collar. Wrap the security collar loosely around your pet's neck as displayed in the picture of the instructions. Attach the hook of the leash to your pet's collar D-ring and also to both rings of the security collar. If your pet's collar fails, the security collar will prevent the cord from snapping back and potentially causing harm.Detaching the leash: Make sure that the cord is fully retracted and that both pets are under control before you detach the hooks.Operating the leash: Hold the leash by the handle at all times. Never hold or grasp any part of the cord if your pet is attached and is able to pull on it. If the cord gets tangled around an object, make sure you gain full control of your pet(s) before detangling it.To stop: Push the brake button. By pushing down, both cords will stop at the same time. When released, the cords will again move freely.To lock: Push the brake button and then push the lock button forward. Pull the lock button back to release.Make sure you have stable footing when using this leash. In case a pet takes off, instantly press the brake and prepare for a jerk. Do not use leash while on rollerblades, a bike or anything on wheels.
