Keep out of reach of children. The recommended initial administration period is four to six weeks. Your dog may respond in a shorter period of time. At this time you can decrease the number of Cosequin DS capsules to the maintenance level. The capsules can be pulled apart and the contents sprinkled on the pet's food. Wet or moist food is preferred to ensure that the pet gets the entire amount. Dosage 10-24 lb: 1 capsule daily (1 in A.M./ 1 in P.M.) *under 10 lbs, 1/2 daily 25-49 lb.: 2 capsules daily (1 in A.M./ 1 in P.M.) 50-100 lb.: 3 capsules daily (2 in A.M./ 1 in P.M.) Over 100 lb.: 4 capsules daily (2 in A.M./ 2 in P.M.) Maintenance Level 10-24 lbs: 1/2 Daily 25-49 lb: 1 Daily 50-100 lb: 1-2 Daily Over 100 lbs: 2 Daily Caution Not for human consumption.
