Installation Instructions: Choose an area that has stationary posts or trees available at both ends of the run area. Trolley system should be installed 6 ft. or higher above the ground. This will allow you to walk under the trolley easily. Drill pilot holes into the posts or trees and install hooks. Attach the spring end of your trolley cable to one of the hooks. Slide one of the stops onto the cable and let it slide loosely. The cable end must be looped through the remaining hook and pulled tightly. Hold the cable tightly drawn and secure with the two large metal clamps. Place the first clamp 3" from the hook and the second clamp 6" from the hook and tighten the clamps. Any remaining cable can be cut off. Determine the best location of the stops, which should be placed far enough from the stationary posts or trees so that the dog will not inadvertently become entangled with them or the tieout. Attach a small metal clamp behind each stop. Warning: Do not use this Tie Out Cable with choke-type collars. Never use this Tie Out Cable near or around obstacles in which your pet can become entangled. Keep your hands/extremities clear of the Tie Out Cable in case your pet lunges. Not all pets can be cabled effectively - owner supervision and judgment are required.
