In New FishbowlsBefore adding fish, wash the fishbowl and other accessories with Jungle Seri Clean to remove dust or residue. Use Jungle Gravel Wash for gravel.Add tap water up to one to two inches below the lip (or widest part) of the bowl, creating as much water surface area as possible to provide fish ample oxygen.Drop in one Bowl Buddies fizz tab and watch it fizz as it immediately makes the water safe for your betta. Safe to use in any size bowl, two gallons or smaller.You can now place your betta in its new home. Use a fish net to remove the betta from the fish bag and place it in the bowl of conditioned water. Do not add bag water to the bowl. If your betta was in a bowl when you purchased it, then you will need to consider doing a water change when you get it home.Water ChangesRoutine water changes are important to keep your betta's home clean and healthy. Completely change the water in your fishbowl once a week using a Bowl Buddies fizz tab.To change the water, place your betta in another container with old fishbowl water while cleaning out the bowl and its contents. For best results, use Seri Clean and Gravel Wash. Add tap water up to one to two inches below the lip (or widest part) of the bowl. Drop in one Bowl Buddies fizz tab and watch it fizz. You can now place your betta back in its clean home.For Ten Gallon TanksBowl Buddies fizz tabs are also great for making 25% water changes (up to 2.5 gallons) in ten gallon tanks.
