Directions For Use:Remove any carbon from filtration before adding to Ick Out to water. Use of good aeration throughout treatment is recommended. Use 1 teaspoon for each 10 gallons of water to be treated. If used as recommended, Ick Out does not build up appreciably in treated systems, but a 50% water change 24 hours after treatment is recommended. For most parasites, one treatment will provide adequate control. For treatment of Ick, repeat regimen every 3 days for 3 treatments. Use caution when treating extremely sensitive species. In some of these groups use of 1/2 teaspoon for each 10 gallons may be effective. Precautions: Any treatments should be based on a diagnosis and recommendation by a trained aquatic professional whenever possible. This product contains a know carcinogen. Avoid inhalation and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear gloves. This product should not be used more frequently than 3 times per week to avoid gill damage to fish. Some fish groups (ex. mormyrids) may be sensitive to Formalin as well as the fry of any species.
