Directions: Use one tab for every 50 square inches of gravel surface area. To calculate gravel surface area: length in inches x width in inches + square inches divided by 50 = number of tabs needed. Example: ten gallon tank measures 20" length x 10" width = 200 sq. in./50 = 4 tabs. Insert each tab into aquarium gravel approximately four to five inches apart or near clusters of aquarium plants. You can use additional tabs in heavily planted tanks.When applied as directed, this product meets the guidelines for metals adopted by AAPFCO.
