Insert the airline plug into the other end of the 4" piece.Attach one of the 10" pieces of airline tubing to the side nozzle of the CO2 holding chamber. Insert the airline tube connector into the other end of the 10" piece now attached to the chamber.Slide the two suction cups snugly into the slots at each end of the CO2 holding chamber. The two suction cups should protrude from the back of the CO2 holding chamber. This is the side of the chamber that will be attached to the inside of the aquarium wall.Attach the remaining 10" piece of airline tubing to the nozzle on the lid of the Fizz Tab reaction vial. During operation of the CO2 Fizz Factory, the two 10" pieces of airline tubing (one connected to the chamber and the other to the vial) will be joined together by the airline tubing connector. Make sure all tubing is well secured to respective nozzles.Place the CO2 Fizz Factory in Your AquariumSecure the unit in place by slowly submerging it inside the aquarium with the open side down into the water. Tilt the unit, allowing the water to completely fill the chamber, then level it, making sure the top of the chamber is even with the level of aquarium water. Attach it by pushing the suction cups up against the inside aquarium wall. The chamber should always remain in place just below the level of aquarium water. A slight tug on the unit will ensure a secured attachment. The short (4") airline tubing and plug at the top of the chamber should always extend above the top of the aquarium and will help you to expel any remaining air captured in the chamber during installation or use. Simply remove the plug to allow air to escape through the tubing and reattach once the chamber completely fills with water. The airline connector and (10") tubing attached to the side of the holding chamber should always be kept out of the water and above the top of the aquarium. This will keep water from siphoning out of the aquarium when the reaction vial is disconnected and not in use.Using Your CO2 Fizz FactoryFill the reaction vial with tap or tank water (approximately three oz.) up to the fill line. Connect the 10" airline tubing from the top of the reaction vial to the airline tub connector that is already attached to the 10" airline tubing from the chamber.Stand the reaction vial upright on a flat surface (such as the aquarium hood), drop in one CO2 Fizz Tab, close the lid immediately and watch it fizz. The tablet completely dissolves in two minutes, producing CO2 gas that moves through the tubing and into the holding chamber. After the table dissolves and no more fizzing or bubbling is visible, the reaction vial along with its 10" airline tubing can be detached. The CO2 gas in the holding chamber will slowly dissolve into the aquarium water, providing a valuable source of carbon for your plants. Each tablet produces 350 cc of CO2. The holding chamber is deigned to capture up to 450 cc of CO2. Therefore, using more than one Fizz Tab at a time will only overfill the holding chamber resulting in a loss of benefit from a second tablet. After each use, the excess liquid may remain in the reaction vial which will help accelerate CO2 production during subsequent uses. Additional water should be added up to the fill line (three oz.) before each use. If too much white sediment collects in the reaction vial, rinse it out.For aquarium use only. Safe for freshwater aquarium fish and plants. Safe to use with all Jungle products. Not for use on food fish.Made in USA.
