8 in 1 Ultra-Blend Select Complete Nutrition Ferret Diet
Ultra-Blend Select Advanced Nutrition Diet for Ferrets is a balanced life cycle ration formulated exclusively for ferrets. Nutritious and highly palatable, Ultra-Blend Select Advanced Nutrition Diet for Ferrets is designed to keep ferrets of all ages in optimum condition. It contains a unique variety of ingredients formulated to provide ferrets with a high level of nutrition. A combination of animal (chicken meal, eggs) and vegetable (corn gluten meal) protein supply an optimum quantity and quality of amino acids. Fat from both animal tallow and corn oil provides energy and a high level of linoleic acid required for healthy skin and coat. Carbohydrates are supplied in the form of corn and rice, both easily digested and palatable. Cane molasses, raisin juice and other natural flavors are added for superior taste. The amino acid methionine is added as a natural urine acidifier. Chelated minerals are used for superior mineral nutrition and the diet is formulated with all the vitamins necessary for optimum nutrition. 8 in 1 Ultra-Blend Select Advanced Nutrition Diet is different because the nutrient rich foods are packed in airtight, spoil-proof barrier bags. In addition, the oxygen is removed from the package, thereby preventing the breakdown of vital nutrients. Sealed in freshness assures your pet is receiving the optimum in nutrition.
Feeding Instructions: Ferrets will generally eat only as much as they need and will not overeat. Fill feed dish as required. Adult ferrets will consume approximately 30 to 40 grams daily. Kets (five to ten weeks old) should be introduced to 8 in 1 Ferret Diet by first adding water to the product to make an "oatmeal" consistency. To do this mix two to three parts warm water to one part food. Let sit for approximately five to ten minutes and mix. Offer this mixture approximately four to five times per day (removing food after about one hour). Change over to dry feeding when the ferret becomes accustomed to the diet (usually about ten weeks of age).
