The
below is from a Scammer! Some of the emails
may not look like scams, but they all lead to the same
thing. The scammer will pay by check (cashier's check/money
order) for more then the pet is worth, then they will
ask you to send them back the difference in money. A
couple weeks later you find out the check was fake and
the bank will take it out of your account. This scam
can be set up several ways.
Some
key points for pointing out a scammer:
1. Doesn't care much about the pet, just the transaction.
2. Says they will use their own shipper.
3. 95% of the scammers are from overseas (Nigeria, Israel, South Africa)
4. Pays you more then the pet is worth, then asks for the difference in money back. |

Hi Friend,
I'm very much interested in buying your pet to my humble home. I'm US citizen. I reside at Colorado Spring CO, but presently in Ottawa, Canada to accept a job offer with the american christain missionary as a clerk. I'm happily married with a kid. I want to re-home your pet as part of my family. I lost my most adorable pet some couple of days ago on the way to the Vet clinic, the tragedy was so painful for me to bear as a pet lover, so i need yours in replace to minimise the lost. I assure you a 100% loving forever home for your pet and i want you to consider the pet sold to a petlover. Pls, briefly tell me these:
Actual Amount Mode of feeding Present Health Condition Breed Pic if available
I have a recommendable pet transporter that will come for the pick-up right from! your home
I will be waiting to her back from you so we can proceed, so plz response to this message should be sent back to my MAIL BOX for a quick response:- lbb19961102@gmail.com
Sincerely,
Lori B. |
