The mail said that they had gotten a minpin named Tinkerbell, and tinkerbell ran away a couple of weeks ago. They said that she has to be their dog, becasue she looks just like thier run away minpin. I was a little freaked out by that. I know for sure that she is not theirs and she is a Roxy not a Tinkerbell. I was startled,,,so my first instinct was to delete the mail. So i did. If this person emails me back i think that i will report it to dogster. ROXY** http://www.dogster.com/?67499
Maybe it would have been nice to let them know that Roxy is in fact NOT Tinkerbell just to put their mind at ease and make them realise that there is no little ray of hope there. I mean, they might be looking for her still but also in the back of their mind thinking "maybe it 'is' Tinkerbell on Dogster". And if they continued contacting you about it, then contact Dogster. Just a thought.
All Min-pins look so much alike and with yours only 5 months old.... Sounds very strange. I would report it now in case they are trying to get money or dogs from people. Remember some people are not a savy as you. You may need to worn them.
I am tired so I did not really read the replys I am sorry. On the dogster account it states how long your dog has been on dogster I think it actually says on dogster since: This is not something you can change yourself so if she sends you another or better yet even though you read it, the message may still be there point this out.
Aisha, that is an excellent idea. I checked and it does show the date, which was in August, well over a couple of weeks ago. That's using your brain girl. I didn't even think of that. Is there anyway you can get that email back so that you can reply to them? If not and they email you again you should point that out to them and tell them you're sorry they lost their dog, but yours is not it. If they contact you again after that I would report it. You just never know about people.
