Hello All, I just logged on, and wondering if anyone can offer me some help. I was looking for and ordered a french bulldog pup from one of the breeders that advertises on this site. I paid in full, ahead of time and ended up getting no puppy. Not only did I get no puppy but completely harashed into trying to take another dog after they delayed the delivery of my dog for over a week with no reasons of why, until finally admitting she was sick. When I informed them I didn't want another dog just my funds returned they yelled, told me not to be irrational, told me I wasn't out anything etc. it was aweful. Finally after many phone calls and corespondences I informed them I would have no choice but to come after them legally. With thay they said they would send me my money back and apologized for all the inconvience. Since then I have gotten nothing back and have filed complaints with the BBB, FBI and have to go to their state to sue. I checked up on them after the agreed to send my money back and they had changed all thier ad info on these sites but used the same general info so i recognized them. Does anyone have any suggestions to what I should do? I'd like to somehow report them to this site and sell.com and etc, but i don't see how to do it besides scam alert which i've already done. Any thoughts would be great, and if anyone would like to know who they are i'm happy to fill you in. thank you so much for your help!
i don't know what you can do legally to get your money back but the owner of this site can be reached by scrolling down to the bottom of this page and clicking on the contact us link. so soory this has happened to you and good luck
I think the legal way to go will be the only way and I am very sorry to hear about your misfortune! I would like also to say a few things about internet and blind purchases. 1) Before you send any money, get a signed contract from them stating a) any health guarantees b) their replacment policy c) their refund policy-as in this case d) how they expect to handle your transaction and what is expected of the purchaser ( I will not take even a retainer from a potential placement until they have seen, read and signed a contract-it wouldn't be fair to them or me) 2) Beware-some breeders will only take cashiers checks or money orders, that is because some have been burned before. However, I have come to understand-why should everyone trust me, so I have now added credit card to my options. They have the right to contest a payment if the puppy never arrives. 3) If in doubt, ask for referrals. Even ask for their vets # and past clients. 4) If you know that they are a member of a breeders club (not a registry-like the AKC or APRI-they really can't help in these situations) contact the club to see if they can help mediate the situation. Many say that they'll only help the breeder, but if I made a promise to someone and didn't hold, they may revolk priveledges, etc. I hope you can resolve this without legal action and you get a happy healthy puppy from somewhere. Best wishes.
Call a lawyer and see what they think. It sounds like you have a case on your hands to me. Also notify Terrific Pets of this person, so they can't get away with doing this to anyone else. Sorry you had such a bad experience !
If it's worth it money wise you might have to file with small claims court to get your money back. There is a bunch of us here that got scammed on yorkies. We all got pups but the wrong ages no papers and some died all were sick. I paid through credit card and paypal and got a partial refund thank God ( after a lot of letters back and forth) but it's really hard to get the money back if you didn't pay with a credit card! When you email TP but scam on your title to them but our scammer Adam Hernandez seems to always get back on after being taken off again and again. Sounds like you have done everthing you can do. Scammers really have the upper hand because if you don't live in their state you have to spend $$ on airfare and hotel just to sue them in court months or years later. Good luck and I hope you get your money or the puppy.
