I am a little...I know that they do not shed so if allergies are a problem they're great. They learn quickly and are couch potatoes after they play outside for a while or go for a walk. They absolutely love their family and are wonderful with kids. My daughter has one and is delighted that she made this decison.
In gneral they are very sweet natured dogs. Active breed, retrievers as that they are a sporting dog. They need regular grooming because they will become big shaggy mops.
All dogs shed hair, sometimes you just have to brush it out to get it to come out of their bodies. This is why if you dont brush some breeds they can become unhealthy since their pores get clogged up with their own hair. But there is not yet a dog who you brush, and no hair comes from it ever.
A lady I work with has one. It is still a puppy and boy is she cute. The pups name is Clipper. Clipper got out the other morning and ran around for 1 hour with her owner chasing her before she could catch her. The lady was pretty mad when she got to work and was asking everyone if they wanted a dog. I was like Yes, sure. I'll take her. I really think she is seriously thinking about getting rid of her.
