Has anyone heard of this before? I have heard that Fuller is a good name for cleaning equipment, but I saw this on QVC and they were cleaning up dog hair like it was nothing. I paid $60 for it..it kind of reminds me of one of those little sweepers that restaurants use..except this one is supposed to be electrostatic, to where the dog hair clings right onto it...hmm, they have a 30 day money back guarantee, so we'll see how it works out.
yes, let us know how it works, as i am in dire need of a new anti-dog hair weapon. but DoGoneIt, i'm surprised you didn't buy the Out of this World Greek Silk Rug Doggie Poopie Cleaner Upper Vacuum. was QVC sold out??? ;p
Huntersmom...lol sureeeee let ME do the dirty work!!! Hopefully it comes soon and I'll let you know how it works (damn thing better work, or I'm out S&H!!)
Bessie..lol You always give me a good laugh, but yes, they were back ordered for that thinga ma gig that you were talking about...they said they wouldn't have any back in until 2020, so I told them I couldn't wait that long, that by then, my Greek Silk rug would be DESTROYED like Acey's matress and dog beds.
Eskie...You know, at first, I was like NAHHH I'm not gonna pay that much for a vacuum, but now that I think about it, I just paid $60 for a little tiny thing that I'm not sure works or not and I could have put that towards the Dyson.
I asked before, but no one answered (I think there is some sort of Evil Minion Plan going on around here) like a...hey, let's see how long DoGoneIT will talk to herself!
Well, I guess, I'll ask it again, but in differnet context. Why does the Dyson work so well? Is it kind of like a Shop Vac..all loud and powerful? Is it super heavy?
nah no * evil * minion plan going on here. if i got tired of watching you write to yourself i would just silence you........again !!!! LOL. i dont vacuum so i would have no earthly idea of what one is nuch less what one works best.
the one sweep is fabulous too. but the dyson- i dont know exactly how it works, it is some design that will not lose suction power over time. adn it doeant have any parts in it to clog or break. the filters all pop out and can be rinsed clean, it needs no bags or belts, and you can see in the canister everything you pick up. we had been using a shop vac daily, thinking what was better than a shop vac? the answer is a dyson. this is what the dyson picked up after we shop vacced:
ClarkNelly..I do have the one sweep and I like it, but it doesn't quite replace a vacuum. For me, the One Sweep is great for my oriental rug..haha and yes, my Greek rug, but I really like it in the foyer, bathroom and any tile or hard surfaces. The one I got, is electrostatic and pushes the stuff up into the canister, but no motor or anything. We'll see how it works though.
Eskie..I had been wondering that. My vacuum cleaner now..it's like a $180 Hoover, bagless and you can see the canister. Everytime I am finished vacuuming (which by the way I do at the very least once a day) it looks like your yellow dyson canister. I know you are not a Dyson Rep, but you seem to have a lot of knowledge about it and stand behind it 100%. Obviously before making a big purchase like that..any and all information is useful and much appreciated.
Here's my problem. My girls have shorter hair..not real real short, but I guess medium hair. It gets caught into the fibers of the rug like splinters and some times I have to get on my hands and knees and scratch at the rug...will the Dyson take care of this, because even after I vacuum with my Hoover..I can still see dog hair on my carpet. Thanks Eskie and anyone else who adds info. to this thread.
DGI- do you have doxies? for some reason i thought that.
*laughing* at being a dyson rep... i wonder if i could..momma needs a new pair of shoes... :)
we looked into a lot of vacuums because, obviously at first glance, $400 for a vaccuum sounds ludicris. if you do to sears, they offer a warranty. if you bring it home and it doesnt get the hair up, they will give you a full refund. the first week we had it, we vaccuumed daily, and it wasnt until day 5 or 6 the canister didnt fill up every time. kinda gross wehn you think about how much your regular vaccuum misses :P we have dysoned the furniture, cars, rugs and floors and the difference is remarkable. i cant say enough good about it. IMO if you buy one you wont be sorry.
my mom though i was being ridiculous for wanting one. she said, borrow mine and buy one of them. it was a hoover i think. so on christmas she vaccuums, and then gives me my gift *dyson* and my BF was so excited he vaccuumed their whole house. the canister filled 3 times. and they had vaccuumed that morning!!! she was sold. she went out the day after christmas and got herself one.
Eskie, you would be a GREAT sales rep for Dyson..lol I believe you sold a few on this board alone! You have me just about sold too....I know EXACTLY what you're talking about when you say that they vacuumed earlier and then it filled up again..3 times! I can vacuum all day long and it seems never ending. AND..I can STILL see hair on the floor! Here are are my girls btw..do you think it'll work on their type of hair?
You know what's so funny Eskie...is that not only have you sold me on the Dyson (Although I'm going to wait a little while because our Hoover is not that old) you also sold me on the one sweep...lol I went out and bought the handheld one first and then about a week later, the bigger one. You do deserve a commission check...I'm just not the one to ask...lol sorry
