I have shown everyone my kittens and my puppy but now i have a pic of my 2 fav dogs. One is a pic of us giving my German Shepard Star a bath which took almost all of us to get her in there and my daughters face says it all...lol The other is of little Petey who decided a roll in the dirt was in order after his bath. The question I have is this and please dont jump all over me for not fixing one of my cats I love her coloring and she is the sweetest cat i have, she has a great personality. She is also my fav kind of cat a calico, and she has had 3 litters so far one a year and i have found homes for each of my kittens and im still in contact with each owner. i love my cats, but Dusty has abad habit of trying to get outside once in a while and she just had a litter about 8 wks ago and she escaped, usually she doesnt leave her kittens that early, shes a very good mother but she got out and was out all night, she use to be an outdoor cat until i adopted her from a friend, but anyway i think she is prego again, i know she shouldnt be, but is there any risk to her heath having them this close together? all her kittens have such wonderful personalities and the males are the cuddle bunnie of the group and even like the water, but i dont want anything to happen to her.
begin prego so soon after the last litter will a heavier toll on her body as she hasn't had time to recover, as you know this take at least a year till they are back to where they should be. You will want to keep an very sharp eye on her, and make sure she get plenty of extra suppliments, and the like. i would even talk to my vet, they may advise a mismatch shot.
cats can get pregnant as soon as their kittens are weaned. theres a good chance she is pregnant again. please get her spayed. you have no idea who she is mating with. the cat she could be doing it with can have feline leukemia and/or feline aids and can be giving her the disease. both those diseases are fatal. not to mention she can get into fights with cats and catch them that way also. those cute kittens she keeps reproducing can cost her her life.
