I recived this email about doogs and how they came into the the world and I thought it was so touching that I wanted to share it. I hope whomever reads it will enjoy it as much as I did. Maybe some of you have already seen it amd even though it sounds a lot on the religous side, I think it is still very touching and very sweet.
A newly discovered chapter in the Book of Genesis has provided the answer to "Where do pets come from?"
Adam and Eve said, "Lord, when we were in the garden, you walked with us every day. Now we do not see you any more. We are lonesome here, and it is difficult for us to remember how much you love us."
And God said, "No problem! I will create a companion for you that will be with you forever and who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourselves."
And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam and Eve.
And it was a good animal.
And God was pleased.
And the new animal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his tail.
And Adam said, "Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and I cannot think of a name for this new animal."
And God said, "No problem. Because I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG."
i wish there was a way to print this out so i could post it on the wall at work so the stupid people who come in and say my dog has a broken leg and i dont have any money to fix it so put him to sleep when they have a new jag parked in the lot. or this is only her 5th litter and shes 6 years old. im sorry but some people can be heartless.

Here is another that is similar,Its one if my favs.
When God had made the earth and sky The flowers and the trees, He then made all the animals And all the birds and bees. And when His work had finished Not one was quite the same. He said "I'll walk this earth of mine And give each one a name." And so He travelled land and sea And everywhere He went A little creature followed Him Until its strength was spent. When all were named upon the earth And in the sky and sea, The little creature said "Dear Lord, There's not one left for me." The Father smiled and softly said "I've left you to the end. I've turned my own name back to front And called you Dog, my friend."
