Skittles was the anatolian shepard the we had adopted with the lyphoma. She was really healthy looking when I took the pics of her. I could not bring myself to take any pics of her after she really got sick or after her eye had been removed. I know normally dogster pages are for our family of living but she so deserved her own page with all that she had been through. And thanks for all the help and blessings that we received during the rough time with her. Anyways here is her puppy page, hopefully I can get the others done soon, too. Thanks all.
Skittles the Teaching Angel, the one that taught a lot of us around here to love and continue loving even after a very rough and unfair life! http://www.dogster.com/?170060
Thanks guys, we really miss Skittles alot. My daughter is still having trouble sleeping without her. LOL we only had her in our lives for such a short time but she impacted us so greatly, that I don't think we will ever be able to forget her or find another dog like her. She was such a doll and a blessing throughout everything. And yes, she was very proud. I didn't get the pics of her and Katie together up there yet because Kate won't let me have them. That is all she has left of her puppy girl and she doesn't understand that she can have the pics back, I just want to borrow them. It will come in time. But thanks for the pup pal request, I am sure Skitties would more than love to have some more pup pals like the ones she had here. thanks
oh my god was she beautiful !!!! such a big girl also. she looks almost identical to my girl scout. again i am so sorry for your loss. but i am happy she had such a caring owner for the remainder of her life. she deseerved that.
OMG Scout is also a very beautiful dog. Skittles did look alot like her. Unfortunatley, Skittles is up in heaven waiting for her katie to join her. Katlyn is still taking this the hardest. I was up til 3am with her crying for her. I know it just takes time to get over losing someone but why does it seem so much harder on a child than it does an adult. I have lost a lot in my life but to watch any of my kids suffer like this just kills me. But thankyou for the request and i am sure Skitties would want to be pup pals with everyone since she didn't have a mean bone in her whole body. Thanks
OKay, not good to cry first thing in the morning! What a story she has. She was so lucky to have found you guys. It sounds like she found a little piece of heaven on earth even if it was only for a little while. I know she will be missed. I think having a page for her is very appropriate. She was beautiful! God Bless your family. :)
