In a couple of years, I am moving and planning to get a much desired bull terrier puppy. However, I am a very specific person and want to have a female, tri-colored (predominately tan with black and brown), blue eyed bull terrier puppy. I realize that the blue eyes would disqualify my dog. Am I being too picky?
WELL, I don't think so. I wanted a female red and white corgi. What I did was talk to several breeders that were reputable and awaited several litters. You must realize that it may take a while to get just what you want considering getting good breeding, good tempermant AND your physical characteristics. The wait is shorter for less specific--that's all.Good luck.
I don't think being too picky is a problem, but I would be more picky about temperment than appearance. If you are wanting a blue eyed one it may be much more difficult to find, and you should have her spayed so the trait is not passed on.
