Hey i'm pretty sure everyone is tired of reading the words teacup chihuahuas and teacup yorkie. lets all have an agreement not to use that word teacup again from now on lets just use 'really expensive'.
I agree and what really ticks me off is when they up the price to 1200 or more when the dog is going to only get 2lbs. Well drrr a chihuahua's reg weight is between 2-6lbs so that is not anything special that is normal! It really bugs me.
Most of the regulars here dont use the "price tag" names....but we will continue to see alot of newbies coming here with questions/comments about their mini, micro, teacup, ect. due to misinformation received from the "breeder".....kinda makes you go grrrr
Oh but don't forget about the newest buzz phrase: "micro."
Just this week, there was an ad on that gawd awful puppyfind place for a "micro" sized hairless chinese crested who was born with a "rare stubbed tail" for...ready for this, $7250. This poor baby was 4 mo. old and barely weighed over 1 lb, he was wall-eyed, and of course, that "rare stubbed tail" was as we all know a genetic deformity. Sadly, not long after it was posted, it was listed as sold.
Wouldn't be surprised if 6 mo. down the road a new poster shows up griping & moaning about how his/her expensive puppy died. GRRRRRRR!!!!
I think if some one has a puppy, Micro, or tecup. They should sell her for half the price, as its bound to have health problems. and like the chinese crested, why would someone pay so much just cuase its tiny? I mean for Way less then half the price you can get one from a reutable breeder. And what are they spending so much money for? do they want to breed a dog with fualts? It realy gets on my nerves when i see ads for "Teacups"
