I had another scammer contact me about my "item" for sale. So had some more fun with this one.
Here are the emails...
"Hello this is Mr James scott from SOUTH AMERICA, i came across your adverte on site and i want to make an enquiry, how much is the last selling price of your (AKC Banana ) Pls kindly give me the last selling price .. i will be so happy and glad to hear from you as soon as possible.so that payment can be made to you fast and i want you to tell me the way i will be paying you.
Best Regard James Scott"
Of course, I am the one that inserted the word Banana into his email, removing Dalmatian when I answered him.
Here is my reply to him:
"My AKC Banana is $4000.00. Please send cash, unmarked bills now."
Never thought I'd hear from him after that, but never underestimate a scammer. He wrote back regarding my AKC Banana, sending a counter offer for less than I was asking. LOL
Here is his reply:
"Sorry for the late reply, am out of town just got back am ok with the last price but i will be happy if you can accept $3500 from me. so that i can send cash to you as soon as possible. sory i cant send money through WESTERN UNION from here where i am, i will need your contact information so that i can send the CASH through UPS or FEDEX i know you will get it nice. get back to me if this is ok by you.
Not sure if I will respond or not. Maybe I'll just make AKC Banana bread and offer that to him. LOL
Yah, you can spot them a mile away, with their fake promises of cashiers checks and they are always out of the country on business.
He he he, notice he said he'd send the cash. Yah right, like I believe that.
My AKC Banana will stay right where she is...lol
I just had to share that one with you all.
When I posted my son's Mustang online (a car - not a horse) some yahoo from Nigeria wrote and said they wanted to buy it. Please realize this was a car without a motor, it was called a project car, the interior was removed and trani taken out. It was ready to rebuild, but they tried to make me believe that they wanted the car for their daughter to drive around and would have their bogus shipper come pick it up.
It's a shame that some people fall for this trash and others actually give out their bank account out in hopes of sharing the millions of dollars that some foreign representative is trying to get rid of.
lol now that is funny! I remember these scammers from a long time ago. One of my friends who used to breed yorkies was selling her last litter of pups and put an ad online, I helped her with emailing customers back. We got an email reguarding her yorkie for sale, but in the middle of the email he started talking about a horse for sale. He must have had a huge list of people to contact because he got the yorkie and a horse totally mixed up in one message lol. So the guy asked if he could send a cashiers check of like $1000 MORE than what she was asking..he told her to send the remainder back to him. Right! Now why would anyone in their right mind do that? Did he think we were that stupid? We should've kept the email so I could post it..it sounded quite hilarious.
Those scammers need to get a life and a job. Anyone ever wonder what they do with all the poor animals when mindless people actually ship their precious animals to them? Horses and dogs, cats, wildlife.. and who knows what else. Poor babies..
i may have posted this here before...i was trying to sell bunk beds on craigs list. i get an email from spain....she's moving here, yadda yadda yadda. whatever. i tell her th eprice, no problem. give my addy, to mail a money order in $US. all of a sudden *oops* $150 became $1500 and can i cash and return the extra. i told he no i'd return it postage due to her and she could get the correct money order amount. i never heard from her again. wonder why...?
heres what i dont get...how can they stop pmt on a money order? or do they just forge them? i dont even give my bank account out to pay bills from. anyone that gullible deserves to be taken, at least once...how else will they learn?
