recently i saw a documentary on cnn on how dogs and cats are being skinned alive in china for their fur.when i say "skinned alive" i mean tying a dog up on a pole and peeling his skin out of his body while still being alive, has anybody seen the show on cnn.i idid and its sick, the dogs are put in a truck inside a crate and thrown to the floor breaking their spines and legs.the most horrific thing is that some of these animals have collars on meaning that they were at some point stolen from their owners to be skinned alive.if you have any information about this topic reply.
i havent seen it. thank god for that. i couldnt bear to see that kind of thing going on. i cant make it through an episode of animal cops without ending up a basket case. i cant fathom people being that cold. i dont get it. for someone to be able to do something like that is unimaginable. others that have the power to stop it , and dont, it is even more hard to stomach.
Guess thats why I own big nasty dogs with sharp teeth and incredibly powerful jaws. My local canine trapper and fur trader would get a hernia trying to pick him up to ankle height!!! I know what you are saying though...innocent dogs getting butchered in the name of some foreign fashion trend or perceived need just sucks.
World has what 6 billion people more or less. Most of the African continent is in terrible, jaw dropping poverty. Lots of Asian nations are also incredibly destitute. Be willing to bet that half the world's population lives day to day and could face starvation and poverty at almost anytime through no fault of their own. Its unfortunate. Its sad. Its probably considered horrifying and sadistic by many citizens in this country. Its not a cultural norm here in the USA to slaughter canines for their fur, never mind consuming them. Just wish if they had to kill them they would not let them suffer. Wish i could provide some happy feelings and assurances that it'll never happen again...but chances are it happens daily in many places around the globe. :(
