I know its kind of a dumb question but do the ones who whine now usually turn out to be the whiners later in life? It doesnt really matter to me but I was just wondering. lol

i dont think so. i think the whining they are doing now is signaling they need something. more food, the confort of their siblings etc.

Yeah i agree. I went with hubbie to pick up 2 hound pups one time and I picked the loudest one thinking she would have agood tounge when she grew up and he picked the quite one and his turned out with the better mouth.

Yeah usually they whine when theyre hungry but some are SO much louder than the rest lol. Theyve also picked up on the sound of the coffee grounder we dont use anymore to grind their dry puppy food and then mix it w/some formula & warm water.

We had one in our last Pug litter that I swear came out whining and never stopped, he continued through puppyhood a crier/barker...hence his name...."mouth"

My pup Jack has always been a winer he never grew out of it!
