I started feeding my Bulldog this food about a month ago. She loves it! We are breeding her soon and I wanted to make sure this food is good enough for her while she is preg. I know it's only been out since Oct. o4. If anyone has anything to say about this food please let me know. Thanks
i have never tried the bulldog formula. i did feed my french bulldogs the royal canin puppy formula. they did fine with it, but when rocky developed allergies, i switched them to the natural balance potato and duck because it is an allergy formula. his goopy eye cleared up and i noticed that all of their coats were alot healthier looking.
I was looking at Royal Canin foods for my new Chihuahua puppy because it is what his breeder feeds her dogs but after looking more closely at it, I just find it strange that they make breed specific foods. I just think that is more of a selling gimmick than anything real relevant to the dogs. I consider the food at the high end of the not so great food.
rilos life, i noticed that to when i was checking out that brand of puppy food, i didnt understand much about it, so if they didnt have your breed of dog what do you get? LOL thats what i thought to it was a selling gimmick. I havent seen any other dog food company sell food that way. I never tried it, wasnt to interested in all the differnt bags for differnt breeds, i should of looked i bet they were the same food just labeled differnt
I know alot of bulldog people that feed their bulldogs this and they do great on it but I have not yet tried this food. My 3 adults and 2, 4 month olds get natural balance duck and potato with a little bit of natural balance fish and sweet potato mixed in and it is for all stages which means puppies and everything can eat it. My female that just had babies last week ate the natural balance all through her pregnancy and had 8 very healthy puppies.
