I have a problem. I want a love bird, but my sister wants a budgie, and the only way she can get one is if I get one to, becuse it will be kept at my house, with mine. she is so excited. what should I do?
ok. we would be getting 2 birds but only if we get budgies. becuse she dosent like lovebirds. but if I got a budgie she would be getting one to. they would be staying in the same cage. but we dont live together, and I would be the one taking care of them mostly, but I would feel so bad letting my sister down, she thinks I am definatly getting a budgie please help
you may be able to keep them together. I have seen macaws and amazons share cages and they have a very large size difference. Buy a fairly large cage with very close wires so their heads cannot fit through. You should just be able to put your index finger through, but not past your knuckle. If they are both babies and introduced at the same time you should have no problem
Dear Melissajean, You should both try to do reaserch on each type of bird, and find the one that will best suit both of your needs. Lovebirds are a lot more interactive than Parakeets, and a lot easier to train. Good Luck, LindyLou
I have done tons of resurch. but I want a love bird and my sister wants a budgie. I also asked some bird people and they said that budgies and lovebirds cant be kept together becuse lovies are alot more aggresive. and could decappitate the budgie. I am going to try to get another cage.
