The place right between her shoulders/chest, that bottom part of the brisket. If it feels jiggly and like a packet - thats fat.
The place right before her tail, if there is a roll, thats a pocket of fat.
The base of her tail for about 3 inches up, if that is not in line with the tail but wides in an obvious eway - thats a pocket of fat.
If there are two bulges right on top of her hips, on her loin, those are pockets of fat.
Feel her ribs, if you cannot count them lightly, not oviously, they have too much fat on them.
And lastly - look at her 'tuck' thats the thin skin connecting her back legs to her body. If the 'tuck'is gone and belly shows (not hang from whelping) but true belly shows in a rounded/padded way, she is prolly over weight.
No way she looks great!! Keep her this size, she is perfect. As long as she is active and you feed her for the right size dog she will keep her figure!! (if your dog is 80lbs and you want her to be 70lbs feed the amount suggested for a 70lb dog not an 80lb.) Just rember 1 cup of food for every 20lbs and use a measuring cup!
Thanks everyone. I didn't think she was fat but as she runs her whole back jiggles back and forth, maybe it is extra skin. Like I said she has a good padding on her ribs but you can count them if you go a little to her underside.
I didn't know if husky where like that, maybe it is her thick coat.
She looks fine to me. I really can't tell how tall she really is in the pics, pics can be deceiving sometimes. I know male huskies should range in the height of 21" to 23.5" and females from 20" to 22". She's pretty!
