I am still looking too, it has got to be "out there" I need the percentage of people (out of entire states and of the nation) that voted. I guess it would be a rather large # for the nation? Likely over 50%?
Sorry so late-didn't see this post until today. I found ours at the Secretary of States website at http://www.sos.state.ne.us/ maybe insert you state instead of 'ne' and see if it brings up yours. Ours was 54%, which I think is pretty good. We didn't have a controversial senate race or a party line bill like stem cell research or gay marriage on our ticket, so it would be interesting to see what type of turnout some of those states that did had.
***One thing that I would like to mention, is that many of us come on here and talk about PAWS, BSL, and other legislation that effects us as pet owners and breeders. If you are of voting age, you need to vote. You may not think you make a difference, but as someone who does legislative testimony and research, you can make a difference. You can't change anything if you don't vote, make your voice heard-no matter what party you are. Take the time and write your senators and congresspersons, find out how they stand, make them work for your tax dollars. If you don't vote and are of age, don't complain. For those of you who aren't old enough to vote, just remember who you elect and what you do may affect your rights to own your pet.***
