I have been working with Blaze on not snatching her treats or toys from my hands. Most of the time she will take it gently but when excited she grabs them. I have been taking them away from her and make her take it nicely before she get it. Blaze take it slow, be a good girl. I tell her.
Is there any other suggestions to help stop this behavior. Thanks for your help!

First don't snatch back the toys, that would just make him snatch more(survival mode). Try takeing it away nicely in exchange for a treat, then give it back, but put it to the dogs nose so he/she doesn't have to reach out to grab it.When the dog takes it nicely tell him so, but don't say much when he snatches. Never take it away just for the sake of taking it away to prove a point.
I'm sorry I should have been clearer but I don't grab them back I make her give them back or go in and take it away and redo the taking it nicely exercise. I also don't take it away unless she snatches it.
I never knew to hold it to their nose. I will certainly try that one. Thank you for your help.

Living in a multi-dog household if a dog gets too rough with the toys and won't give the dog back I call all the others away from the offending party (9 times out of ten it's Haunter the Beauceron) and he has to get a time out.
