Well, I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone. I have this adorable toy long-haired Chihuahua. I've always noticed that she had offset nipples (which didn't bother me because I figured that it would be easier for her if I decided to breed her, which I decided not to.) But I was brushing her hair and she rolled on her back for me to brush her belly and I noticed that she has SEVEN nipples! Is that normal?
I know that it's not a health concern... but I'm just a little curious!
Dogs can have nipples anywhere along the "milk lines". That is anywhere from chest to between the back legs on 2 imaginary lines a couple of inches apart. Of course it looks nicer to have an even number. One of my dogs has all double nipples along her left side. They are positioned 2 close together in each spot where she has only one in each spot on the right side.
I know it's weird but my chihuahua also has an uneven amount of nipples also. she has 8 big ones and 1 underdeveloped one.(it's not a mole believe me) and they areeven until you get to the last 4 nipples! I'm trying to get a pic of them to show you!
sorry I'll have to get those pics to you later my camra is being stupid right now! I think I need another one it keeps turning off
